Course Content
How have people's fears changed from the late XIXth century to the present? The analysis of the social construction of emotions and of dangerousness, from the fear of the 'Other' to domestic violence, in which children and women are either victims or authors of the violence. The course focuses on the interactions among subjectivity, social norms, prejudices, and opinions of the experts in law, psychology and criminal anthropology.
