The course aims at introducing the main approaches, research methods and basic concepts of psychology. Course topics include hystory of psychology, research methodology, sensation and perception, consciousness and attention, learning and memory, intelligence, language and communication, emotion and motivation, sleep-wake rhythms and vigilance.
