Double Degree with the University of Seville (Spain)

 

DOUBLE DEGREE between the curriculum E25 - Crisis and Promotion of Developmental Resources and the Master en Psicología de la Educación: Avances en Intervención Psicoeducativa y Necesidades Educativas Especiales

Since the academic year 2018/2019, a double degree program has been activated between the Master's Degree in Lifespan Psychology and Contexts, class LM-51, E25 Curriculum in Crisis and Promotion of Developmental Resources, and the Master en Psicología de la Educación: Avances en Intervención Psicoeducativa y Necesidades Educativas Especiales of the University of Seville, which allows students to earn both academic degrees.

 

Number of available places:

There are 2 spots available for students from the University of Florence and 2 spots for students from the University of Seville.

 

Requirements:

For the University of Florence, 2 winners of the selection for admission to the Master's Degree in Lifespan Psychology and Contexts, based on the merit ranking, who have enrolled in the Master's Degree in Lifespan Psychology and Contexts, class LM-51, E25 Curriculum in Crisis and Promotion of Developmental Resources, and who have chosen the option for the Double Degree with the University of Seville, Master en Psicología de la Educación: Avances en Intervención Psicoeducativa y Necesidades Educativas Especiales. In case of a tie between candidates, priority will be given to the candidate with the highest final grade, and in case of a further tie, priority will go to the younger candidate.

 

Ranking of admitted students for the academic year 2022/2023 to the E25 curriculum - Double Degree between the curriculum in Crisis and Promotion of Developmental Resources and the Master en Psicología de la Educación: Avances en Intervención Psicoeducativa y Necesidades Educativas Especiales

 

 

Admitted candidates must, before their departure scheduled for the second semester of the second year (academic year 2023/24):

  • Be regularly enrolled at the University of Florence for the second year in the academic year 2023/2024
  • Have a B1-level English language certificate
  • Have a B1-level Spanish language certificate
  • Have earned 90 CFUs at the University of Florence in the first and second year teaching activities.

 

Training path:

Students from the University of Florence will spend the second semester of the second year at the University of Seville and must earn the following 30 ECTS in the Master en Psicología de la Educación: Avances en Intervención Psicoeducativa y Necesidades Educativas Especiales:

  • Trabajo Fin de Máster, 9 ECTS
  • Prácticum, 11 ECTS
  • Trastornos de Conducta Infanto-Juvenil, 4 ECTS (replaced by Autismo e Intervención Basada en Evidencia, 4 ECTS)
  • Violencia Escolar y Bullying, 4 ECTS

Mandatory credits

  • Final Exam, 12 CFU
  • Internships and professional ethics, 6 CFU
  • Prevention, evaluation, and treatment of socio-emotional difficulties in the lifespan, 6 CFU

Optional credits:

  • Minimum 6 ECTS from the Seville curriculum

Optional credits:

  • 6 CFU as free choice

Students who do not earn the required credits during their stay at the University of Seville may extend their stay for a maximum of one academic year, subject to approval by the academic coordinators of both universities.
After completing the training path and earning 120 CFUs in the Master's program, the student will receive the double degree from the University of Seville and the University of Florence. The thesis will have two co-supervisors (one from Seville and one from Florence). The final exam will be discussed after the exams at one of the two campuses.

Failure to meet the requirements for obtaining the double degree will not affect the completion of the Master's degree in Lifespan Psychology and Contexts, Curriculum in Crisis and Promotion of Developmental Resources, at the University of Florence according to the educational regulations and other national and internal rules applied to the LM program.
