The reform aims to simplify access to regulated professions by aligning the degree examination with the state examination. This change is designed to facilitate and expedite graduates' entry into the job market. The certified completion of the internal practical-evaluative internship within the new study programs will be a prerequisite for accessing the degree examination, through which students will obtain both their academic title and qualification title after passing a practical test.
A key aspect of the restructuring of the Study Path following the introduction of the qualifying degree is that the internship (TPV), which was previously required post-graduation, is now integrated within the degree program (3+2) starting September 2023.
In total, this comprises 30 ECTS, which must be obtained as follows: one-third during the bachelor's program (10 ECTS) and two-thirds during the master's program (20 ECTS).
The complete pathway to achieving qualification is illustrated in the accompanying figure.
