Access to Online Services

The credentials for accessing online services consist of a user ID and a password.

The user ID is the 6-digit matriculation number preceded by the letter "D." The matriculation number is provided to the professor by the School's administrative office.

The password for the first login is the date of birth in the format DDMMYYYY. For security reasons, the system may require the user to change it.

In the case of a contract professor who has previously held teaching positions at the University of Florence, the password will be the one originally used. If the professor does not remember this password, they can use the password recovery service.

With these credentials, the professor will be able to:

  • Access the personal reserved area, where they can enter their curriculum vitae, office hours (mandatory), and post announcements on the Department, School, and degree program websites where they hold teaching assignments. The data entered here will be visible in the “CercaChi” directory.
  • Upload course syllabi to Ugov. Course syllabi must be published online before the start of classes.
  • Access the E-Learning platform to upload teaching materials (handouts, audio, video, notes, etc.). This additional service is optional.
  • Record exam results with a digital signature (click here).
    It is important to note that for Integrated Courses, the exam must be recorded by the course coordinator (modules cannot be recorded).
  • Approve and validate graduation theses for which they are supervisors.
  • Access the service for viewing payslips and the single certificate.
  • Access all Unifi webpages that require authentication.

 

UNIFI EMAIL ACCOUNT

The professor is assigned an institutional email address in the standard format: name.surname@unifi.it.

To activate the institutional email account, go to the page http://cir.unifi.it/chgpwd/.

The Google Suite (Gmail, unlimited Google Drive) can be accessed at http://mail.unifi.it.

 

DISABLING CREDENTIALS

At the end of the contract (April 30 of the academic year following the contract), the credentials for online services and email will be deactivated.
