Antiplagiarism software
The University of Florence has implemented a software tool for detecting and combating plagiarism in undergraduate and doctoral theses: TURNITIN.
This software, one of the market leaders in this field, allows the analysis of texts submitted in any format. It performs a comprehensive analysis across all of the supplier's databases, in both Italian and other languages.
The final report provides a "plagiarism" percentage and also indicates the sources that have been used (citations and bibliography are naturally excluded from the verification).
