Admission Requirements
- To be admitted to the Master's Degree Program in Clinical and Health Psychology and Neuropsychology, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent foreign qualification recognized as suitable.
- For enrollment, the following degrees are considered qualifying: those obtained in classes L-24 (under the Ministerial Decree 270/2004) and 34 (under the Ministerial Decree 509/1999), as graduates from these classes are considered to have fulfilled the curricular requirements. These graduates must have at least 5 ECTS in the sector L-LIN/12, or a certification of English proficiency at the B2 level.
- For graduates from foreign universities, the Master's Degree Program Council or the designated body will evaluate the curricular requirements for recognition of eligibility. For graduates from classes other than L-24 and L-34, the following curricular requirements are necessary to access the Master's Degree Program:
- Core training activities in psychology: At least 90 ECTS in at least 6 of the following SSDs (Subject-Specific Disciplines):

- M-PSI/02 Psychobiology and Physiological Psychology
- M-PSI/03 Psychometrics
- M-PSI/04 Developmental and Educational Psychology
- M-PSI/05 Social Psychology

- M-PSI/08 Clinical Psychology
- Interdisciplinary training activities and related and supplementary subjects: At least 15 ECTS cumulatively from the following SSDs:
- BIO/05 Zoology
- BIO/09 Physiology
- BIO/13 Applied Biology
- INF/01 Computer Science
- M-DEA/01 Demographic and Ethnological Disciplines
- M-FIL/02 Logic and Philosophy of Science
- M-FIL/06 History of Philosophy
- M-PED/01 General and Social Pedagogy
- M-STO/04 Contemporary History
- M-STO/05 History of Science and Technology
- MED/03 Medical Genetics
- MED/38 General and Specialized Pediatrics
- MED/42 General and Applied Hygiene
- SECS-S/01 Statistics
- SPS/07 General Sociology
- At least 5 ECTS in the L-LIN/12 English Language sector, or a B2 level English certificate*.
- In the case of identified academic deficiencies upon entry, the Master's Degree Program Council will indicate specific individual courses to make up for these gaps. Credits from these individual courses must be acquired before enrollment in the Master's degree program.
- In any case, admission requires verification of the adequacy of the applicant's preparation, as per DM 22/10/2004, n. 270, Art. 6, paragraph 2, through a written exam.
- The number of enrolled students is annually determined based on the available training resources, as proposed by the Master's Degree Program Council, and approved by the academic authorities.
* Students who do not yet possess the B2 English certification have two options to obtain it:
- They can take the test (without attending a preparation course) at the CLA (Language Center) by following the registration instructions on the page: https://www.cla.unifi.it/vp-219-futuri-studenti.html.
- Alternatively, they can attend a course at the CLA and take the test afterward. The CLA offers a pre-fall course focused on written and oral comprehension, especially designed for future students who need to take the admission test for enrolling in a Master's Degree program. The course code is 11354, and it is organized to meet the needs of prospective students. They can also enroll in any of the English courses starting from the pre-fall session (September 18 – October 6) or the intensive fall session (October 9 – November 10), under the same economic conditions as internal students (50 euros).
