Additional Courses (Outside the Main Curriculum) to Complete 10 CFU in Practical Evaluation Internship

Since the last academic year (A.Y. 2023/2024), Psychology degree programs have been revised to include licensure eligibility. The core of this reform is the introduction of a “practical evaluation internship” within the degree program, carrying a total of 30 CFU, divided as follows:

  • During the Bachelor's: 10 CFU = 250 hours within the program as practical activities.
  • During the Master’s: 20 CFU = 500 hours in external organizations.

For those seeking additional legal references, the relevant regulations are: Law No. 163/2021 and subsequent Interministerial Decrees of June 20, 2022, No. 567, and July 5, 2022, No. 654.

With this reform, the practical evaluation internship (TPV) is now completed within the study program rather than post-graduation (as previously required).

As future graduates under the previous Bachelor's curriculum, you will be able to enter our new licensure-eligible Master’s program after acquiring these credits (10 CFU in Internship), or alternatively, during the Master’s with an additional course load (details and schedules to be provided later).

However, in your current Bachelor’s curriculum, only 7 CFU* are recognized for these activities:

  1. “Activities/Exercises in…” (4 CFU)
  2. “Psychological Assessment Workshop” (3 CFU)

*These credits will already appear in your academic record upon completion of the Bachelor’s degree.

To enable you to complete the remaining 3 CFU, the program is offering the option to enroll, outside the main curriculum, in an additional course chosen from the following:

  1. Activities in Clinical and Health Psychology (2nd semester)
  2. Exercises in Psychology of Cognitive Processes (2nd semester)
  3. Exercises in Developmental and Educational Psychology (1st semester)
  4. Exercises in Social Psychology and Work/Organizational Psychology (1st semester)

Selections may include courses not previously split.

Attendance for these additional courses is not mandatory but highly recommended. All relevant information will be provided in the first session.

Interested students should choose one of these labs, provided it is not already included in their curriculum. (For example, students in the Clinical curriculum may choose between options 2, 3, and 4).
