Guidance Committee

The Guidance Committee, established under Article 11/4 of Ministerial Decree 509/1999 and subsequently Article 11/4 of Ministerial Decree 270/2004, serves as a permanent consultation body representing sectors of production, services, and professional industries.

In summary, its functions include:

  • Reviewing the educational program at the proposal stage for new or revised study programs;
  • Supporting students throughout their academic journey—prior to admission, during their studies, and potentially after graduation—and monitoring the offered educational programs.

When selecting public and private entities to participate, the School of Psychology prioritizes existing collaborations with external organizations. This approach facilitates productive partnerships while leaving the door open, within legal limits, for new members to join the Committee in the future.

The Guidance Committee for the study programs coordinated by the School of Psychology includes the following members:

  • School President
  • Presidents of the Degree Programs
  • Tuscany Region
  • City of Florence
  • City of Lastra a Signa
  • Order of Psychologists of Tuscany
  • Confindustria
  • Regional Education Office
  • Tuscany Local Health Authority (ASL)
  • Meyer Pediatric Hospital (Psychology Units)
  • Istituto degli Innocenti
  • Di Vittorio Cooperative
  • Social Cooperative C.A.T.
