School Bodies, Delegates, Student Representatives

The Schools serve as the primary organizational entities within the University for managing teaching activities. The required governing bodies of the School are as follows:

 

The School is supported by the following Departments:

 

According to the University Statute, Schools coordinate the teaching activities provided in bachelor's and master’s degree programs, as well as in specialist programs, and manage the related services.

 

The School's operation and responsibilities are outlined in the School Regulations.

 

 

School Council

The School Council is appointed by the Rector’s Decree and is composed of:

  1. The President of the School, who convenes and presides over the Council
  2. The Directors of the participating Departments
  3. A faculty representation, not exceeding 10% of the members of the Department Councils within the School, including professors and researchers selected from Department Boards, degree and doctoral program Coordinators
  4. An elected student representation, amounting to 15% of the total number of faculty members, as specified by the University School Regulations

Joint Faculty-Student Committee

Each School has a Joint Faculty-Student Committee, which serves as a permanent observatory of the teaching activities carried out within the School. The Committee monitors the quality of the academic offerings, evaluates the services provided to students by faculty and researchers, identifies indicators for assessing results, provides recommendations on the initiation and discontinuation of Degree and Master's programs, and prepares an annual report with proposals for the Internal Evaluation Unit, as per Legislative Decree No. 19 of January 27, 2012.

The Committee comprises one faculty member and one student from each degree program affiliated with the School, nominated by their respective Program Councils (Art. 6 of the University Schools Regulation).
