Learning Objectives
Knowledge and ability to understand
Acquire fundamental knowledge on research methods in Clinical Psychology.
Knowledge and applied understanding skills
The course will provide students with the necessary skills to: understand the ethics of the research; acquire a technical-scientific vocabulary; be able to build a research design; use both quantitative and qualitative methods; analyze, interpret, evaluate a research and disseminate it.
Autonomy of judgment
Particular emphasis will be given to understanding: from simpler research designs to more complex ones.
Communication skills
The course will provide students with the knowledge necessary to understand, know how to interpret and explain the fundamentals of research in Clinical Psychology
Ability to learn
The course will allow students to integrate the new knowledge acquired with those already in their possession and with those deriving from other courses, so as to create useful links.

During the lessons, exercises and examples will be carried out, in order to exemplify the way in which the theoretical knowledge acquired can be put into practice. Autonomy of judgment
During the lessons, a critical approach will be used to the analyzed theories and techniques, in order to make the students familiar with the discussion of concepts, theories and techniques proposed in the scientific and clinical field.
Communication skills
During the lessons a language will be used that will allow students to learn the main technical terms of the discipline, and that is able to constitute examples of communicative methods useful to be used in a diversified way with colleagues.
