The aims of this course are to develop: a critical knowledge of theoretical models in clinical and health psychology; skills necessary to perform psychological interventions in clinical and health psychology.
Learning Objectives - Part B
Knowledge and understanding
The program of activities in clinical and health psychology aims to offer the student an introduction to issues related to clinical psychology, health, with particular reference to psychological well-being through bibliographic research.
Applied knowledge and understanding
The course will provide students with the skills necessary to carry out literature searches on research articles pertinent to psychological well-being.
Judgment autonomy
Make the student able to deepen the design of a paper on topics related to psychological well-being starting from international bibliographic research.
Communication skills
Organize the bibliographic material in order to arrive at the drafting of a systematic paper.
Ability to learn
The course will provide students with the necessary knowledge to deepen the notions acquired through the other courses within a systematic method of investigation and relationship.

The delivery of a final paper on the activities carried out is expected. In particular, the skills of bibliographic research, systematic exposition of materials, interpretation and reflection on the topics will be evaluated.

Course program - Part A
Theoretical models in clinical and health psychology, well-being, quality of life, illness behavior, health behavior, lifestyles and health, psychological interventions and treatments in clinical and health psychology, contexts and application in clinical and health psychology.
Course program - Part B
Frontal lessons will be held on interventions in clinical and health psychology: planning, implementing and verifying prevention, promotion and treatment interventions, both in the field of clinical psychology and in that of health psychology, with particular reference to psychological well-being.
Goals:
a) Make the student able to deepen the "knowledge" about the interventions for the promotion of psychological well-being.
b) Make the student able to deepen the "know-how" by offering, through an application study, the opportunity to try their hand at the collection of international scientific bibliographic material.
c) Making the student able to "know how to be", offering tools for the systematization of the collected bibliographic material.
