Learning Objectives
Knowledge and understanding: The Clinical Psychology program aims to provide the student with an introduction to issues related to psychopathology, assessment and clinical interview. It will be considered the basic concepts relating to the quantification and data processing in research in clinical psychology.
Knowledge and understanding applied: The course will provide students with the basic skills necessary to be able to formulate correct psychodiagnostic hypotheses, basic elements for the clinical interview and a research design in clinical psychology.
Making judgments: Special attention will be devoted to the practice and research in clinical psychology. These topics will be covered considering some recent contributions nationally and internationally.
Communication skills: The course will provide students with the knowledge necessary for the assessment, the interview and the interpretation of the results of research in clinical psychology.
Learning skills: The topics covered in the course of Clinical Psychology are useful for profitable future courses and for the preparation of the thesis.
