Knowledge and understanding
The program of activities in clinical and health psychology aims to offer the student an introduction to issues related to clinical psychology, health, with particular reference to psychological well-being through bibliographic research. It will detail the Positive Psychology, with special attention to the
development of psychological well-being and happiness according to the
main models in the literature such as the Well-being Therapy (Fava),
Positive Psychotherapy (Seligman) and Human Happiness (Fordyce).
Applied knowledge and understanding
The course will provide students with the skills necessary to carry out literature searches on research articles pertinent to psychological well-being.
The course will provide students with the skills necessary to perform
some reflections on interventions in clinical psychology and health:
design, implementation and monitoring of interventions for prevention,
promotion and treatment, both in clinical and health psychology.
It will also allow autonomous reflections on Positive Psychology and the
actions associated with it.
Students will be involved in application and evaluation of a little intervention
to promote psychological well-being.
Judgment autonomy
Make the student able to deepen the design of a paper on topics related to psychological well-being starting from international bibliographic research.
Make the student able to investigate the "knowledge " about the
development and implementation of interventions in clinical and health
psychology, providing the tools to evaluate their efficacy and
effectiveness.
•Make the student able to investigate the "know how " in clinical and
health psychology offering, through an application study, the ability to
deal with a specific model of psychological well-being promotion.
•Make the student able to "being" in clinical and health psychology within
a positive psychological paradigm.

The delivery of a final paper on the activities carried out is expected. In particular, the skills of bibliographic research, systematic exposition of materials, interpretation and reflection on the topics will be evaluated.
