knowledge and understanding
The Activities program in clinical psychology and health aims to provide the student with an introduction to issues related to clinical psychology, health, with particular reference to positive psychology.
It will detail the Positive Psychology, with special attention to the development of psychological well-being and happiness according to the main models in the literature such as the Well-being Therapy (Fava), Positive Psychotherapy (Seligman) and Human Happiness (Fordyce).
Applying knowledge and understanding
The course will provide students with the skills necessary to perform some reflections on interventions in clinical psychology and health: design, implementation and monitoring of interventions for prevention, promotion and treatment, both in clinical and health psychology.
It will also allow autonomous reflections on Positive Psychology and the actions associated with it.
Students will be involved in application and evaluation of an intervention to promote psychological well-being.
Making judgements
•Make the student able to investigate the "knowledge " about the development and implementation of interventions in clinical and health psychology, providing the tools to evaluate their efficacy and effectiveness.
•Make the student able to investigate the "know how " in clinical and health psychology offering, through an application study, the ability to deal with a specific model of psychological well-being promotion.
•Make the student able to "being" in clinical and health psychology within a positive psychological paradigm.
Communication skills
The course will provide students with the knowledge necessary to carry out actions to promote wellness groups, with particular reference to:
-communication strategies
-management of interpersonal relationships

The course will provide students with the knowledge necessary to integrate the knowledge gained through the other courses within the paradigm of positive psychology, with particular reference to the concept of promotion.

Intermediate tests in which students will take place in the classroom simulations.

Exposure, interpretation and reflection, on examination, the topics discussed in the course.

Presentation of questions, on examination, that require reflection and exposure of the issues addressed in the course.
Learning skills
Knowledge to integrate the knowledge gained through the other courses within the paradigm of positive psychology, with particular reference to the concept of promotion will be verified a written test consisting of multiple choice questions.
